Thank you for your interest in serving with Joy Beyond Vision Community (JBVC). We truly appreciate your willingness to support individuals who are blind or visually impaired (VIP) and our community.
Our volunteer team includes both visually impaired and sighted volunteers from different backgrounds. Together, we serve in meaningful and rewarding ways through programs, events, outreach, and community support.
Requirement
Before applying, please note:
- The minimum age to volunteer at JBVC is 18.
- Volunteers must complete an application form.
- A quick chat/interview, orientation, and training may be required.
- Some roles are short-term, while others may require a regular weekly or monthly commitment.
- A Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required as part of the volunteer process.
- Volunteers are expected to respect and support JBVC’s mission, values, and beliefs.
