Since 2006, we have been committed to fostering a nurturing, secure, and welcoming space where visually impaired people (VIP) can flourish, engage, and delight in the fullness of community life. Our mission is to empower Visually Impaired people (VIP) by fostering a supportive community, enhancing their capacities, and nurturing their faith. Built on the foundational pillars of Community, Capacity, and Faith (CCF), we are dedicated to creating and sustaining an environment that supports VIP in living meaningful and dignified lives.

Community Building
At JBVC, we strive to provide a barrier-free, safe, and inclusive environment for VIP. Our initiatives focus on providing accessible space, advocating equal opportunities, and promoting awareness to eliminate societal stigmas associated with visual impairments. By doing so, we aim to build a community where individuals with visual impairments can lead lives with fulfilment, dignity and independence.
Capacity Building
Our capacity-building sessions are designed to empower visually impaired individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate various aspects of life confidently from vocational training to educational workshops. We provide tailored programs that enhance personal development, vocational skills, and overall independence. Through these sessions, we aim to equip our community members with the tools they need to overcome challenges and contribute actively to the society.
Faith-Building
In addition to capacity-building, JBVC places a strong emphasis on nurturing the faith of individuals. Our faith-building sessions provide a spiritual foundation, offering a space for reflection, encouragement, and connection. These sessions include Prayer Meetings, Bible Study sessions, Peace Mission Trips, and active participation in Praise and Worship sessions. We believe that a strong spiritual foundation contributes significantly to the overall well-being and resilience of individuals facing visual challenges.
